Player Development Stages

In this initial stage, players begin to showcase their coordination and ball-handling skills. This phase combines recreational play with private lessons to instill proper techniques and develop habits on a strong foundation.

Game understanding becomes paramount during this stage, introducing players to competitive soccer and advancing player development. Technical proficiency takes center stage as players dedicate 2 days or 180 minutes a
week to training at the club.

Considering the challenge of overseeing 16-20 players, individualized attention through private lessons focusing on Speed of Play, Technical training, and situational awareness becomes essential. Mental Mastery and
Leadership skills are introduced to guide players in training effectively, overcoming challenges, and embracing fearlessness.

Players are encouraged to review their matches with the guidance of a top-level analyst. Tactical insights are introduced to deepen players’ understanding of game strategies and positional nuances. At this stage, players
allocate 3 days or 270 minutes a week to club training.

In this phase, Mental Mastery and Leadership skills grow in significance. Players hone their Speed of Play proficiency, learning the timing and positioning of their actions while internalizing the 82 Individual Tactical Habits and
Principles of the game.
Players are tasked with specializing in 1 or 2 positions based on their Individual Profiles. They delve into Positional Specific Tactical Game Understanding, with each match meticulously analyzed and training conducted with
precise intent.
At this stage and beyond, players engage in 4 training sessions or 360 minutes per week under the guidance of their coach and club.

Players focus on refining position-specific techniques, strengthening their mental resilience, and mastering the intricacies of Speed of Play, along with the 82 habits.
With every match and training session analyzed by an analyst, players approach each session with purpose and a clear objective. They exhibit mastery in Positional Tactical Understanding and Game Tactical Understanding,
adapting seamlessly to various formations and effectively executing their roles in any scenario.
Amidst this stage, players participate in international trials and tournaments to gain exposure and assess their progress.

At this advanced stage, players synthesize the skills acquired in previous stages. Players and parents align their focus on achieving success, whether through a collegiate scholarship or securing a professional contract.
Agents and scouts actively seek out players for trials and extend invitations to clubs and colleges

There is no homework.

Why is there homework?

By dedicating time to practice what they learned during class or session, students can accelerate their growth significantly.
Returning to the next class with a solid grasp of the material allows them to progress one or two steps ahead, rather than
revisiting the same content. Additionally, when a player acquires a new technical skill or individual tactical habit but fails to
practice outside of sessions, they risk starting anew at the next session, hindering their progress. Consistent practice after
each session, however, paves the way for exponential growth.
